Paul McCartney Congratulates Ringo Starr On Being Tapped As British Knight

Ringo Starr is one of the citizens picked for knighthood and other awards given in the name of Britain’s monarch  — along with his former Beatles bandmate is singing his praises.

Paul McCartney took to Twitter Saturday to share a Photograph of the Group Together with a congratulatory message.

“Huge congrats Sir Ringo! Sir Richard Starkey has a nice ring to it. Finest drummer best pal!” McCartney wrote.

The Cabinet Office of Britain publishes a list of those folks receiving honors for bravery, service or merit a yearbefore New Year’s Eve, and on the Saturday at June when the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II is formally detected.
